If you are looking for the front matter of a law journal, the first place to check is HeinOnline. When viewing an article on Hein, use the menu on the left-hand side of the page. If you scroll all the way up, you will typically find the title page, table of contents, and other front matter.

If that doesn’t work, checking the catalog to see whether Boley (the law library) or Watzek (the undergraduate library) has the journal in print.
Oftentimes articles will be available from multiple databases, so be sure to check them all to see if one provides the front matter. Don’t be afraid to google the journal, as the front matter for some issues may be available for free on the open web.
If the article is available online but the front matter isn’t, the library cannot process ILL requests for the front matter alone. Please contact a law librarian if you have any questions.
