Question

Can the law school provide legal advice to me?

I'm looking for legal advice on a family law situation I have. Does the law school have anyone that can help me?

Answer

The law school can't provide legal advice to you, however, we have several places where you can find additional information that might help with your question.

First, we have a guide called "Resources for Self-Represented Litigants". This guide lets you know what resources are available to you, how to use them, and other resources (like county law libraries) that might be helpful to you as you research your legal question.

The law school also has a number of clinics that may be able to help you with your legal question. These 8 clinics serve different needs in the community. The clinics include: Animal Law Clinic, Criminal Justice Reform Clinic, Earthrise Law Center (Environmental Law), Global Law Alliance for Animals and the Environment, Low Income Taxpayer Clinic, National Crime Victim Law Institute, and the Small Business Legal Clinic.
