During the summer 2023 construction on the library, the physical building will be closed. However, our library staff will have access to the books and storage items you may want to check out. After you've found the book you want to check out from looking at our catalog, there are a number of ways to submit your request.
If you are on campus already, just write down the title and the call number (ex. KF3775 .G33 2005), also make note if the book is found in one of our special collections, like Environment or Legal History, then hand it to one of the circulation staff members in Wood Hall Room 121 and they will retrieve it for you from the closed stacks.
You can also check out a book by putting a book you find in the catalog on hold. We will pull this book for you, email you when it is ready, and have it waiting in Wood Hall Room 121 when you come in to get it. To request the book from the catalog entry, select Request L&C Item, then select where you would like to pick up the item.
Finally, you can fill out a from requesting one or more books from our closed stacks using this form.
If you have questions, please reach out to our circulation desk using the email lawcirculation@lclark.edu.
