How to Change Your Password

You can update your credentials using either of the following SecureAuth methods:

  1. SecureAuth Mobile App: Using the SecureAuth Authenticator app on your mobile device is the fastest, most seamless way to update your credentials and complete multi-factor verification. Simply open the app on your smartphone, navigate to the password reset option, and follow the prompts. Detailed instructions are available here: Password Self Service - App.
  2. SecureAuth Dashboard: If you have configured hardware security keys and/or biometric authentication, you can also change your password on the web by visiting Password Self Service - Web Dashboard.

Before you begin, please review our L&C Password Policy for full details.

Here’s a quick summary of the key requirements:

  • Minimum length: 15 characters
  • Maximum length: 19 characters
  • Minimum of 1 special character
  • Cannot reuse your 6 most recent passwords
  • Cannot contain first, last, or username
  • Cannot contain common password values or phrases
  • Cannot use passwords known to have been exposed in a cyber breach
  • Will expire every 180 days
