WebAdvisor Troubleshooting

General Login Tips


1. Make sure you are using your LC username (lc23-1150 WITHOUT the @lclark.edu) and password.

2. Make sure to click the "Login" menu in the upper right corner of WebAdvisor, not the prospective student tab.

3. Try opening WebAdvisor in an incognito/private window, or clear the cookies/cache for WebAdvisor in your browser.

Troubleshooting Tips:

  • Prospective students without LC accounts must use the LC Portal.

  • After paying the deposit, prospective students will create an account with an lcYY-nnnn username.

  • When logging in, enter only the username (no @lclark.edu).

  • Do not use capital “LC”—WebAdvisor doesn't like it.

  • Enrolled students- always use the Login tab, not the prospective student button.

  • Chrome, Firefox, or Safari work best for WebAdvisor.

  • Make sure cookies are enabled in the browser.

  • Try using an incognito browser window.

  • If you cannot log into gmail.com or lcmail.lclark.edu, the issue is with your email login, not WebAdvisor. Contact IT
